UAE Embassy Attestation

The United Arab Emirates Embassy attestation journey starts with notary stamping, which is required for many types of certificates. Although all documents do not require notarization, some documents like affidavits, powers of attorney, contracts, wills and personal declaration documents need notary attestation. This initial process sets the foundation, making your certificates ready for further attestation.

After notary attestation, your documents go to the State Home Department or HRD for verification. HRD attestation is in charge of attesting educational documents and is frequently required in Gulf countries. SDM attestation, an alternative to HRD attestation, can be employed for personal papers such as birth and marriage certificates.. Your commercial and business documents go directly to the Chamber of Commerce for attestation.

Once your documents are attested by SDM/ HRD/ Chamber of Commerce, they are sent to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) for further attestation. It is the final Indian-level attestation for your documents. Once MEA issues an attestation stamp on your documents, they are ready for the final step.

After MEA attestation, your certificates are sent to the UAE Embassy. The MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) in the UAE requires the UAE Embassy attestation of your documents before granting a visa. The UAE embassy attests personal, educational, and commercial documents, provided they are previously attested by MEA.
