China Embassy Attestation Process in India

The procedure of the China embassy attestation in India consists of four parts. This makes your documents legitimate and valid in China.

  • Step 1: Notary Stamp Certificate Attestation for China

To begin the China Embassy attestation process, obtain a notary stamp on your certifications. Certain papers, such as affidavits, contracts, and personal declarations, require this stamp to be legitimate. It’s like building a structure for the following process.

  • Step 2: SDM / HRD / Chamber of Commerce for China Attestation

After being notarized, your documents are forwarded to the State Home Department or HRD for verification. HRD attestation is mostly required for educational documents.  Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) attestation can also be used for personal documents such as birth and marriage certificates. Your company documents are delivered directly to the Chamber of Commerce for authentication.

  • Step 3: MEA Attestation for China

After your papers have been confirmed by the SDM/HRD/Chamber of Commerce, they are sent to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) for further attestation. This is the final step in attesting your papers in India. Once MEA stamps your documents, they’re ready for the last stage.

  • Step 4: Attestation from the China Embassy

After the MEA attests your certificates, they are sent to the Chinese Embassy. Before you may be granted a visa, the Chinese Embassy must certify your papers. They will complete the final attestation for personal, educational, and corporate papers, making them valid for usage in China.

How Can I Attest My Documents From The China Embassy?
