Jordan Embassy Attestation Process Time & Cost

In the initial phase, several documents must be verified by a Notary Public.  Specific papers, such as affidavits and personal declarations, must have a notary stamp to authenticate their legitimacy. This initial step prepares everything for further validation.

Once notarized by Notary Public, your documents are sent to the proper authorities for verification.

• Educational Documents: Go to the Human Resource Development (HRD) department for their seal of approval.
• Personal documents like Birth and Marriage Certificates: Attestation for these papers will be handled by the state home department.
• Company Documents: The Chamber of Commerce takes the spotlight by certifying your company documentation.

In rare situations, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) would attest your documents before presenting them to the MEA.

Your papers are delivered to the Ministry of External Affairs. This critical phase includes the national seal of approval, which confirms the validity of the prior attestations.

With the MEA seal in place, your documents are ultimately delivered to the Jordanian Embassy. This is the most important stage for visa purposes since the Embassy validates your papers and issues the final attestation, making them legitimate for usage in Jordan.
