First, have some of your documents notarized. This phase is necessary for a variety of documents, including contracts, wills, and affidavits. A notary public is a government-appointed official who verifies that your signatures and papers are authentic. They will stamp your document to verify that it is legitimate and has not been changed.

After notarization, the following verification happens:

• The Human Resource Development (HRD) department guarantees that educational papers such as degree certificates and diplomas are recognized by the school and that qualifications are valid.
• Personal certificates, such as birth and marriage certificates, are verified by your state’s Home Department to validate their origins in India.
• The Chamber of Commerce authenticates business papers such as commercial invoices and contracts to ensure that they are legitimate and comply with trade standards.

Documents may require extra verification by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) depending on their category or state rules.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) functions as India’s primary international affairs office. When they testify to your papers, they provide an official stamp from the Indian government stating that they are original. After the MEA stamps your paperwork, it’s ready for the final evaluation.

In Sudan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) is responsible for visa approval. They need your documents to be validated by the Sudanese embassy to ensure their legality.  After the MEA attestation, the Sudan consulate stamps your documents, making them legal for use in Sudan.
